Legends FC Welcomes Patricia “Patchy” Toledo as Girls Technical Director
Norco, CA – 12/1/2025 — Legends FC is thrilled to announce the hiring of Patchy as the club’s new Girls Technical Director, bringing world-class playing experience, national team leadership, and a proven track record of developing elite female players.
Patchy joins Legends FC after a distinguished professional playing career in Brazil, Iceland, and the United States, preceded by her collegiate playing experience in the U.S. She is a dual A License holder (USA & Brazil) and is currently pursuing her Pro License, demonstrating her continued commitment to coaching education at the highest level.
“Joining Legends FC is an incredible opportunity to help shape the future of the girls game in Southern California. I’m committed to developing both coaches and players through a clear methodology, high standards, and individualized support.”
“Working with exceptional Legends players like Scottie Antonucci, Mia Corona, Lexi Coughlin, Daya King, and Sammy Ruiz at U.S. Soccer—players who embodied both talent and tremendous character—showed me the kind of environment I want to be part of. That experience made it clear that Legends FC, with its values and ambition, is the perfect fit for me.”
Her coaching résumé includes major contributions within the U.S. Women’s National Team Youth Program, where she served as Head Coach for the U16 USWNT and collaborated with the U18, U19, and U20 National Teams across major international competitions, including Concacaf Qualifying and the Pan American Games. Under Patchy’s leadership, the U16 USWNT achieved an undefeated cycle, winning the 2023 Montaigu Tournament in France and the 2024 UEFA U16 Tournament, while promoting numerous players to the U17 World Cup roster.
“Patchy’s background is exceptional — but it’s her passion for player development and her belief in empowering young women that truly sets her apart. Her experience at the youth national team level, along with her commitment to methodology and alignment, will elevate our girls program even further. This hire fits seamlessly with the strong foundation we have built and the direction our club is moving, reinforcing the standards and vision that continue to drive Legends FC forward.”
As Girls Technical Director, Patchy will lead a unified, club-wide development structure centered on coaches, players, and the overall competitive pathway. She will implement a comprehensive coach assessment and development program designed to elevate every girls coach in the club, while also overseeing Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for girls players to ensure clarity, growth tracking, and personalized progression. Additionally, Patchy will collaborate with club leadership to refine and advance the Legends FC style of play, game model, and methodology, reinforcing a clear identity that influences training and competition across all ages.
