The bracket for the 2008-2009 season has been released and it is now official, Legends FC, formally AC Alliance, is a Silver Elite team.  The team has been together for four years and has been progressing nicely.  The team is excited about their promotion, but they know they have a lot of hard work ahead of them.  They have been placed in the Silver Elite North bracket, which many believe is the group of death.  Legends find themselves playing against Independiente, CZ Elite Soccer, FC Barcelona Red, LAFC, NV Tango, Chivas Jr., and OYSA Waves.  Independiente is a former Gold team and FC Barcelona Red should have been promoted to Gold, but Albion from the Presidio league moved over to CSL and took their spot.  CZ Elite Soccer is the former Barcelona Blue team, which beat Legends during a friendly tournament.  LAFC is another strong team that in the past has had some strong victories over Legends, but in recent matches, Legends has come out victorious.  NV Tango was also promoted to Silver Elite this upcoming season and recently avenged their loss to Legends in a 1-0 victory.  Another familiar team in the group is Chivas Jr.  which was the Silver bracket winner last year.  Legends find themselves in the same group with Chivas Jr. for the third year.  OYSA Waves, formally Oxnard FC, were the winners of the Silver North bracket.  The bracket consists of proven teams and rising stars; who will be on top this year?
