"I played with our "team" of 4 players: myself, my friend Vicky Bauer, Chris Pak, and Carolos -- Victoria’s grandpa. We represented Matt Hodges U12 Black Legends Team. It was a beautiful day and the weather was clear but chilly. In the afternoon, one of our last holes was a par 3 and there was a contest for $25,000. However, in order to win $25,000 a person needed to hit a hole-in-one. I am not sure how familiar you are with golf, but the chances of hitting a hole-in-one are extremely rare. Even pro golfers only hit a few in their lifetimes. Especially when it is on a specific hole during a tournament -- it almost never happens! Yet, it did happen...Victoria’s grandpa (Carlos) hit a Hole-in-One and won $25,000 during our Legend tournament! He was truly a nice man and we were all very excited for him! It was his first Hole-in-One ever and it happened to be on a day that was a tournament day and he happened to WIN $25,000! It was very exciting...I hope next year we have more golfers come out and enjoy this great day!"
