We are excited to announce Rick Young as the newest member of the Legends FC coaching staff. Rick joins the club with a wealth of experience & success. He has won 7 Surf Cup Championships and several Region III and Region IV Championships.

"I am excited to come out and work with the kids... its a great atmosphere and very professional," says Young.

Young has been coaching since he was 18. He comes to us from Knoxville, Tennesee where he was the Director of Coaching. Before heading out to Tennesee, Young spent 5 years with the Slammers and 1 year as the Assistant Director of Coaching at OJSC. However, Young is a Southern California native and is happy to return to his hometown of Chino and to coach with his buddies.

Over the past few years Young was able to get to know Josh and they kept in touch. Young noticed a distinct style of play in Legends teams. "You can tell its a teaching environment by the way they play. They posess the ball and knock it around." Young also noticed Legends being recognized nationally and he knew he wanted to be a part of this "very competitive and up and coming club."
