Gonzalez has a USSF B license.  His coaching philosophy and goal is to focus on technique and footwork from the youngest to the oldest keepers.  Gonzalez believes goalkeepers should work just as hard as field players.  He has spent the past 3 years as the Associate Head Coach at San Diego State University.  He has over 16 years of experience coaching.  Prior to coaching, Gonzalez was a 4-year goalkeeper at UCLA and a member of the 1990 Bruins’ National Championship squad.
